Oneshot The Hobbit. Bilbo's Reminiscing

This is a short Oneshot fanfic I wrote about Bilbo Baggins as he is reminiscing about his beloved Thorin Oakenshield. 

Red snow.

I can’t stand the sight of it.

Too Many memories I want to forget.

Forget and yet treasure at the same time 

For it was his blood that made the snowflakes darken into a crimson red. His last breath that made the air feel shivering cold and still his smile warmed up his face as he lay there with his gaze upon me. His eyes drifting away as he whispered about all the things he wanted me to go back to. To all the things I wish I could have shared with him.

There he lay.

Slain by Azog the defiler.

I should have told him earlier. I should have brought him home.

Would he have been happy in my little house underground, with my armchair and my garden?

Would he have enjoyed reading books and planting trees with me?

Would he have watched them grow alongside me as the years would have passed for both of us.

Would his dragons sickness be fulfilled when it was only me he could treasure?

Would he have let go of the arkenstone and given it to Fili without so much of a hesitation?

Wondering has no use now.

For Fili, like his uncle and his brother was slain.

The line of Durin was no more.

the last true king under the Mountain was dead and now his cousin ruled in his stead.

A mere shadow of the king Thorin could have been, given the chance.

The other hobbits in the shire would say that wondering has no use but a burgler can only dream of what could have been and smile in his delights as he remembered the good times.

As for the disclaimer part that I would like to add after this very short oneshot. This story is a work of fiction that I wrote with characters and a setting that I obviously do not own. (If I did you would be seeing my stories on TV and in the bookstores instead of here). Neither do I own the pictures that I used to make the cover on Canva. They are, like the characters, borrowed since this is just a manifestation of my love for the series of films and not an attempt to earn from it.

So here is the first chapter of my fanfiction about the netflix show Fate the winx Saga. In this fanfiction I am combining elements from both the show Fate the winx saga and the cartoon Winx club, the show that many years ago captured my heart when I was a child. This story is set after the first season of Fate the winx saga and at the beginning of the second. In this story Tecna arrives at Alfea as a second year exchange student from the city-state Zenith that is ruled by her father. But studying and making friends is the least of her worries because she is sent to alfea with a mission or two.
