Fate the winx saga : Tecna's arrival chapter 4
So here is chapter 4 of my fanfiction about Fate the winx saga and Winx Club.
I hope you like it.
“You and
Timmy?” Stella and Terra shrieked as Tecna entered the suite again. The rest of
the girls were all sitting on the sofas with their pajama’s still on but their
eyes were wide open for the gossip.
“How?”
Tecna asked as she shut the door behind her and went to sit on a sofa.
“Have you
ever heard of a text?” Musa asked laughingly as she held out her phone that
showed Sam name on it.
“Of course
the three of them are rooming together,” Tecna muttered under her breath. “And
yes I have heard of texts I just don’t do them on outdated phone models like
the ones here.”
“Ouch,” Bloom
said as she rolled her eyes. “Anyway, I have to go. Rosalind is waiting for me
and during the lunchbreak I’m meeting Sky.”
“Yeah, we
have to go to the greenhouse. The specialists are training right now. which
means that there will be wounded soon. But I want to hear the details,” Terra
said as she and Flora left the suite.
I’m meeting
Sam right now,” Musa said as she too quickly left.
“So that
leaves us,” Stella said as she took Aisha’s arm and went to sit closer to
Tecna.
“Actually,
I wanted to ga for a swi-“Aisha tried to say but Stella’s firm look made her
stop mid-sentence. “Yes, I want to hear all about it.”
“Good
because it includes your Loverboy,” Tecna said as she stretched herself out a
little bit.
“You have a
Loverboy?” Stella beamed as she looked at Aisha’s shocked face.
“He is not
my Loverboy!” Aisha nearly yelled out.
“Then how
do you know who I’m speaking of?” Tecna said with a victorious smile.
“I… don’t
change the subject. This conversation is about you and Timmy!” Aisha said as
she pointed towards Tecna.
“There is
nothing between Timmy and me! I only went to greet him because he is from
Zenith too and he got here too late so I wanted to welcome him.”
“As if,”
Stella said as she looked at Tecna’s blushing cheeks.
“It is and
if you’ll excuse me. I believe that classes are about to start.” Tecna said as
she stood up from the sofa and went to get her books.
But it
appeared that books were not necessary for the masterclass that Rosalind was
planning to teach that day. Instead she ordered them all to go out into the
woods to the stone circle where she had Bloom and Marcos demonstrate.
She looked
around her and saw that all the fairies around her were either in awe or in
fear for the demonstration at hand.
Maybe this
was the time to probe the minds of her classmates, Tecna thought to herself as
she let her first looked for the mind fairies in the crowd. Most of them were
still hungover from the night before. A lucky fact for her as their mental
defenses were down for all of them, except for Rosalind.
She could
feel the urge to slip into Rosalind’s mind. The feeling that it would bring all
the answers she was looking for. She found her mind slowly gliding towards
Rosalind but as she was getting close, she could feel her nerves getting to
her. It wasn’t safe yet. If it would ever truly be safe to slip into Rosalind’s
mind.
No. If she
wanted to find out how Rosalind came back to life she would need to get close
to the others involved in the act. She glanced over towards where Bea was
standing with her clipboard in her hand and smiled at her. Bea noticed and
winked before she returned to her notes.
“How long
is this going to take?” Stella whispered in exhaustion.
“Until she
snaps,” Tecna said as she studied Bloom face as it grew more irritated with
every blast Marco hit her with.
“It won’t
be long if it goes on like this,” Musa said as she sighed.
Musa had
barely said the words when Blooms eyes burned red and the flames in her hands
intensified. She let out a scream that was rewarded by a satisfied smirk from
Rosalind.
“Class is
dismissed,” Rosalind said and the fairies dispersed into all kinds of
directions. All of them glad to escape Rosalind’s class.
“Let’s go
and look at what the specialist are doing,” Stella said as she pulled Tecna
away by the arm towards the training grounds.
“You want
to see sky, don’t you?” Tecna asked when they were alone.
A painful
look appeared on Stella’s face. “Is it that obvious?”
“As long as
we not going there to see Timmy. I have no desire to see him.” Tecna said with
a sigh but of course he was the first specialist that caught her eye when they
entered the training grounds.
They went
to stand beside Riven. He looked up onto the platform when Andreas went to
stand on the other side of him.
“What do
you think?”
“At first
look it’s going to be sky all the way. He is going to leave an opening for Dane
to think that he has a chance” Riven said with a smirk. “But he won’t draw
blood. Dane on the other hand. he’s got something to prove.”
“The first
who draws blood?” Stella asked as she looked at Andreas.
His eyes
narrowed when he saw the princess of Solaria question his orders. “Yes,
Princess. Saul has treated them as children for long enough now. it’s time they
become men and woman.”
“By wounding
your soldiers every single day,” Tecna asked as she looked at Timmy who was
fighting against two other third years in the distance. He hadn’t been wounded
yet, but if this was their way to teach then he soon would fall as well, or
risk getting exposed.
“They are
not soldiers yet. Saul made sure of that,” Andreas said with an annoyed sigh
and just as he said it, Dane used a backhanded move to draw blood.
He rolled
up from the ground as Stella tried to run towards the platform, but Tecna held
her there. She grabbed Stella’s hand and squeezed.
Sky reached
for his wound and put pressure on it until Riven caught him to take him to the
greenhouse. Together they looked at Andreas who turned away and left Sky to his
own devices.
“Thank
you,” Stella said as they walked away. “I didn’t know what came over me. it’s
pathetic.”
“It’s not.
You’ll find someone better,” Tecna said as she turned to look at Timmy’s fight.
He had won his fight and Andreas approvingly nodded towards him.
“More
emotion for another student than for his own son,” Stella said with anger in
her voice.
“And yet
Sky wants his approval more than anything in the world.”
“Yes.”
“What
happened to the man who raised him?” Tecna asked suddenly. “Saul Silva?”
Stella
shook her head. “Too much to tell right now. Too much history going on. Besides
Sky should focus on other things than getting that asses approval.”
“like
what?”
“Like
calling his mother, Samara, to tell her that her husband is alive,” Stella
said. “My mother hasn’t sent word yet, not has anyone else here has sent word
to her.”
“Where does
his mother live?” Tecna asked as they continued walking towards the open ground
that was full of greenery, away from the training grounds.
“In
Eraklyon and I understand that communication between kingdoms can be tedious,
but I at least expected Sky or my mother to at least call. Rosalind has
forbidden Andreas from doing so himself.”
“What do
the kingdoms have to do with it?” Tecna asked. Her curiosity couldn’t be helped
and she stopped walking and turned to Stella.
Stella’s
eyes grew wide as realization hit her what she had said, but there was no
escaping. Tecna was too clever to be fooled by some lie.
Stella
lowered her head when she nearly whispered the words. “His mother is crown
princess Samara of Eraklyon.”
It felt
like a tub full of ice water had hit her. She couldn’t believe her ears. Even
the database in Zenith didn’t know about this. Of course not, the identity of royal
children in Eraklyon was kept a secret until they turned eighteen and
officially joined the royal family.
“That would
make him-“
“Second in
line to the throne of Eraklyon,” Stella finished her sentence.
“But that
means that Andreas was Prince consort. Why would he give that up to go in to hiding?”
“I don’t
know, but I do know that Rosalind must have had something on him. Either his
undying loyalty or some dirt.”
“It doesn’t
make sense,” Tecna said as Stella took her arm to continue their walk.
“It is
custom for the future crown prince or princess to attend Alfea. His mother went
here too and she and my mother, became like sisters until their duties pulled
them in the other direction.”
“What a
revelation,” Tecna said as she made mental notes of it.
“Do you
know her?” Tecna asked suddenly. “Crown princess Samara, I mean.”
A big smile
appeared on Stella’s face. “Yes, she is my godmother.”
“Well then
maybe you should be the one to tell her that her husband who she thought dead,
lied to her,” Tecna said with a determined tone in her voice.
Doubt
crossed Stella’s face when she started shaking her head. “That’s not for me to
say.”
“It’s
exactly for you to say,” Tecna said. “You are the crown princes of Solaria and
you are her goddaughter. How long has it been since he has returned?”
“A couple
of weeks, but she will be furious if Sky doesn’t tell her.”
“Exactly.
They’ve had weeks to tell her and they haven’t. The longer that she doesn’t
know about it, the angrier she will be at Sky for not telling her.”
“You are
right about that, but-“
“No buts,
please. You can even use my laptop if you want,” Tecna said as she opened her
hands and had her purple Mini laptop appear in front of her.
“You’re
right. She deserves to know everything. Besides she and Saul used to be friends
as well. I’m sure that she would like to know about his incarceration.” Stella
said as they went to sit on an empty picknick table and logged into Tecna’s
computer.
